Retro Save Portability is local-first. The app does not upload, analyse, or track your game saves.

Data on your device

Folder paths, file names, hashes, bundle manifests, save contents, device labels, and transfer history stay on your device. The free tools work without an account. Removing the app does not delete bundles you created.

License verification

If you buy or restore Keeper, the app stores your license token locally and sends that token to the Sociobot billing API to check whether it is valid, normally no more than once per day. Sociobot/Dodo processes purchase details as merchant of record. Retro Save Portability never receives your full card details.

Website

The website loads no advertising, analytics SDK, tracking pixel, third-party font, or third-party script. GitHub serves release downloads and may receive ordinary request data such as your IP address and user agent under its own policy.

Your choices

You can use every preservation and safety feature without Keeper. Clear the stored web license by removing site data in your browser; remove the desktop license from the app’s Keeper panel. To request billing-data help, email support@sociobot.in.

Changes

Material changes will be dated here. We will not silently turn local save handling into a cloud service.
